2010-2011 School Year is here and almost gone!!!

A new school year has come and is almost gone!
Reading is better than ever at M.H. Moore Elementary!!!
We have been inviting the parents to come read with their children. It has been FANTASTIC!!! .
Tuesday through Friday 7:15 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. Library doors are open. Willing teachers are coming in early and giving of their time to assist parents and students in the library. Students walk in enthused to check out new books, read with mom or dad, and take AR tests. Our principal and assistant principals are motivating students to increase their reading thus improving academics in all content areas.
Grade levels are competing for number of words read, and millions of words are emerging, this means more books are being read. Delicious, Yummy, WOW!! Waffles are being cooked and served by our school administrators to those classes who reach the schoolwide Reading Goal set per session . Students look forward to this celebration!

New Development!

We move over, we run, we bustle!
New construction, new structure and new development of minds is never to cease at M.H. Moore Elementary, here in Fort Worth TX. Reading has taken a new form from "Caterpillar" to "Bee". The workers keep reading and feeding the points to AR. Setting new goals to kick up new levels in reading.

Happy New Year 2010!!

Our M. H. Moore Mustangs are in high gear reading course of action. This year AR (Accelerated Reader) has become a daily measure for reading comprehension, and the points are adding up!!! The M.H. Moore Mustangs know what is all about. The school halls are being inundated with readers everywhere, classrooms and school library is set up with computers to give AR (Accelerated Reader Tests), students even take books to read to the cafeteria. Our Reading Caterpillar has been hibernating for the winter in close quarters but the points keep feeding that little sophisticated, silken creature. Keep on making those points!! Read, Read, Read, take the test, Pass the test, and add more points!

A New Year is coming Books are on the shelf for new little hands to grab them, read them, AR test them and acumulate points , points and more points!

This is a brand New year, 2009-2010. Our school is getting a lot of action with an overhaul and reconditioned classrooms. New floor tiles, new celings, new aircondition and heating vents, a super addition to our building. We are excited projecting new classrooms, more students, new grade levels and more teachers! We feel inspired and are aggressively making use of the running technology that is assisting students in the academic content, curriculum expected to achieve this year. Our Team teachers, school staff, parents, and students are working together to bring out the best in all personnel of our institution. Our blithe Communication, resiliant attitude, and considerate hearts are united to the sucess of our students. We are one and each year we look forward to the new encounter, of enduring readers who earnestly embrace the love of reading!!!

Time is running Out!!

The celebration is getting closer, students are rushing to get more reading done. Now they are selecting fun reading. They seem motivated because they can foresee the coming celebration and they want to be included.
